A BIG thank you to all the families that send food for our pot-luck yesterday.
As the children can tell you, we had a FEAST!  It was wonderful!

Tomorrow is Halloween and there is a dance in the afternoon which students
can go to, or they can watch a movie or they can do a science experiment with
Mrs. Ross.  For those students going to the dance we are encouraging them to
bring a canned food item to donate to the food bank.

Most students took their math test today. The other students will be taking it tomorrow.
I will try to finish marking them all by Thursday evening so that they'll go home in the

Parents - please ask to see your child's Friday book (it is orange).  I still have some
children who are not bringing it home to be signed. They are getting quite full with
all of our work that they're sharing with you.  They will need to empty them at the end
of this month so that we can start again.

Our first pot luck will be on October 29. The first 1/2 of the class will be
